This USABP Roundtable panel, led by Herbert Grassmann, Maurizio Stupiggia, and Stephen W. Porges, will delve into the findings presented in their book Somatic-Oriented Therapies: Embodiment, Trauma, and Polyvagal Perspectives.
The book, featuring contributions from 42 authors, represents a significant consolidation of innovative research and clinical approaches. It highlights how various somatic modalities are transforming trauma treatment, fostering embodiment, and addressing existential distress.
