Gendlin’s Approach To Words And Meaning Invites Creativity
The members of the Gendlin Center committee invite you to a conversation about the meaning and significance of Gendlin's work.
We will organize the conversation around Gendlin's article "The significance of felt meaning," opening the session by situating the article's relevance within Gendlin's oevre. Then, the members of the committee will share their perspectives on its relevance for them, personally and professionally, as a way to discuss the importance of Gendlin's insights.

The members of the Gendlin Center committee invite you to a conversation about the meaning and significance of Gendlin's work.
We will organize the conversation around Gendlin's article "The significance of felt meaning." We invite you to read it here.
We will open the session by situating the article (which is the introduction to Gendlin's book Experiencing and the Creation of Meaning), its relevance within Gendlin's oevre. Then, the members of the committee will share their perspectives on its relevance for them, personally and professionally, as a way to discuss the importance of Gendlin's insights. Then, the conversation will open up to participants. We might go into breakout rooms to deepen the conversation.
Though the Gendlin Research Center has now put on two successful Gendlin Symposia, this is the first time the members of the Gendlin Research Center have created this type of event, and we look forward to a stimulating conversation with you. If it goes well, we hope to offer similar events in the future.
