August 29 - September 2, 2022
New Forest, England
in-person, residential
Sponsored by The Radix Institute, this workshop offers participants an extended experience of Radix work without the usual distractions of work, relationships and daily life issues. It is a great opportunity to learn more about yourself in the context of having fun and engaging fully with others.
The STRUCTURE of the Workshop: We will begin on Monday evening with a group activity and opportunity for participants to meet with their Radix therapists. Morning group sessions and individual sessions will be led by advanced Radix trainees. The afternoon and evening group sessions will be led by Judy Stein, Certified Radix practitioner.
GOALS: Radix practitioners work with workshop participants to restore the rhythmic flow of the radix throughout the body - both on its inward movement, enhancing self contact, and on its outward movement, enhancing contact with others. Working verbally and with the bodily processes of breathing, movement, sound, touch, and vision, therapists assist participants to discover experientially how their body structure and energetic patterns can interfere with the way they think, act and feel, and to restore and express their aliveness, finding new ways of being that serve their needs and desires more effectively in the world.
WHO MIGHT BENEFIT? This workshop is
... a good introduction to our approach to personal growth if you haven’t experienced Radix work before.
... an excellent adjunct to regular individual work. Participating deepens personal work and offers you support from other group members. New issues different from those in individual work often arise because of the wide range of concerns of participants and the interactive nature of the weekend.
... a great opportunity if you are considering commencing the Radix training program
The Radix approach can be applied to most challenges confronting all of us in living our lives more fully. However, people with ongoing mental illness or substance abuse, or a history of severe abuse or trauma, are advised not to attend.
LOCATION: Avon Tyrrell Activity Centre is located in sixty-five acres of beautiful grounds in the New Forest National Park, located about 80 miles southwest of Heathrow airport.
