About the CARE Introductory Workshop: Social Somatics in Therapy
NeuroSystemics offers an integrative scientific pathway to handle a range of conditions including trauma, depression, anxiety and addiction. Combining wisdom traditions, state of the art neuroscience and systemic understanding, this introductory Workshop will focus the benefits of somatic practices of mindfulness and compassion as systemic therapy interventions. Practices will range from individual session to groupwork. There will be opportunities to explore social and psycho-spiritual frames of therapy and develop key skills in attention and emotion regulation.
Objectives & Benefits
This Introductory Workshop will offer you:
Skills to up-regulate your nervous system: Experiential practices of social somatics and therapy group work to deepen your capacity to create safe and co-regulatory group spaces using somatic embodiment. You will have small triads to practice these skills, accompanied by professionally trained mentors.
Pedagogical maps & learning frameworks: An understanding of somatic practices within a systemics frame and the potential for societal engagement and transformation.
Live demonstrations and opportunities for discussion.
Is the CARE Training for me?
Therapists, clinicians, psychologists, doctors, psychiatrists: learn to work with the body, integrate your tools in a transdiagnostic framework, build solid group facilitation skills, include attentional and emotional regulation, explore psycho-spiritual practices.

Presenter Bio
Boaz B. Feldman, PgC, SEP, MSc
NeuroSystemics Co-Founder & Faculty
Boaz is an experienced psychologist, keynote speaker and trauma trainer acting for worldwide positive change. He has worked with numerous international organisations (UNHCR, UNOCHA, WHO, Doctors Without Borders) in a variety of humanitarian contexts such as conflict-affected regions (Afghanistan, Burkina Faso), low-income contexts (Eastern Europe) and natural emergencies (Thailand). Trained in Mindfulness for over 15 years, Boaz first ordained as a Buddhist Monk in Thailand, and then studied at the University of Bangor. Based in Switzerland, he has been assisting therapist trainings in Somatic Experiencing and taught as the main faculty in Europe for Organic Intelligence. Boaz is currently undertaking a 2-year silent meditation retreat (with some breaks!).
