The Center for Healing Shame would like to offer something back to the helping community in this strange and difficult time.

In the necessary isolation we are all experiencing right now, both embodiment and healthy shame become extremely important in helping us make our way through to emerge stronger than we were before. “Embodiment” is the ability to be comfortable in your own body and accept and process all of your feelings, no matter what’s going on around you. “Healthy shame” is the ability to accept and make the best of limitations and events that are beyond our control. While toxic shame causes a state of freeze, healthy shame allows us to pause, reassess and adjust.

This workshop is designed to undo the aloneness we all feel right now by sharing as a community; the webinar will be interactive. Coming from a heart-centered place, we will share concepts and exercises to help everyone both strengthen and replenish in the face of the dangerous unknown. Many are challenged by energy pulls from distressing news, loss, and the needs of clients and family members. Healthy shame can help us set appropriate boundaries and give what we have without burning out—and keep hope alive.
