The NY Society is set to begin the next professional training group this coming Fall (dates of training weekends can be found on the NYSBA website). For those of you who have already indicated your intention to join the program but have not submitted a formal application please do so by completing the application form and sending to Dr. Scott Baum.

Because we know that some of you who are interested in the program could not attend the professional workshop in March we are offering a one-day professional workshop which can serve as an introduction to the program and as a way for us to get to know you, also. The one-day workshop will be held on Saturday, June 8th, at the office of Dr. Baum, 160 West 73rd Street (1D), from 10am-5pm. The workshop will take up the theme of the last professional workshop on Shame and the Dilemma of Human Destructiveness. We will use that material to illuminate some of the basic elements in the approach of Modern Bioenergetic Analysis to psychotherapy process, as well the experiential learning method we use in the training program.

Those of you who attended the previous workshop are welcome to attend this one as well, and for those who could only attend that one for a single day, this may serve to deepen that day’s learning. If you have questions or want more information please contact Dr. Baum
