The USABP Research Committee encourages research by: 

1. Offering a $500 prize for the best research pertaining to body psychotherapy and a student prize of $100 for the best student research in the field. Committee members
review submissions and select the winners.

2. Encouraging research through contact with colleges and universities which offer
courses in body psychotherapy.

3.  Presenting a research symposium at each USABP National Conference.
